There is a TV show called Downton Abbey, about life at a great English estate. Many of our readers have asked about the staff at Thornfield Manor, so I thought I would give you a brief rundown. Later, we shall add pictures.
Rodney is the butler.
Alfie is the senior footman.
Oscar is the doorman, assisted by McCulloch.
Eloise and Petra are the housekeeping staff.
Johnson assists as butler, doorman, or footman, as required by the occasion.
Bucher runs a school on the manor grounds, for all the staff's children and some of the creatures from the estate.
Gascon is the chef, assisted by Washoe and Sue.
